Over the centuries the RDO Bailiwick of Utrecht has possessed many churches and houses which, in so far as they still exist, are in the hands of church associations, private individuals and the local government authorities (church towers). Historic buildings in the region of the RDO Bailiwick of Utrecht can sometimes receive financial assistance for restoration projects, or for necessary adaptations.
Examples of cultural-historical projects:
- Restoration of the organ of the village church, Katwijk
- Restoration of a window in the Pieterskerk (St Peter’s church), Leiden
- Restoration of wall- and column-paintings in the Martinikerk (St Martin’s church), Doesburg
